Managed website service terms

Choose your service in MyHub: Managed Website is £59 per month. Website + Social is £74 per month and includes the website service plus Facebook page support described below. No set-up fee applies. You may cancel at any time by written notice.

1. The service

The standard service is a managed business website for £59 per month, unless a different written proposal is agreed. It includes the agreed website design and build, hosting, routine technical maintenance, reasonable small content updates and support. Advertising, extensive SEO campaigns, new pages, major redesigns, ecommerce and additional systems are outside the standard plan and quoted separately.

2. Agreement and scope

No payment is taken from the enquiry form. Before work starts, we confirm the agreed scope, price and special requirements in writing. That written confirmation and these terms form the agreement. Work outside the agreed scope requires a separate quotation or written agreement.

3. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate content, instructions, approvals and any photographs, logos or materials needed. You confirm that you have permission to use everything supplied and that it does not infringe another person’s rights or break the law.

4. Payment

The £59 monthly payment begins when agreed in writing, normally before design work starts. Payment is requested using a secure Tide invoice, payment link or another method shown on the invoice. Bank details are never published on this website.

5. Timing and approval

Timescales are estimates until the scope and content are agreed. Customer delays may move the launch date. You are responsible for checking names, prices, claims and other business information before approving launch.

6. Ownership and licence

Your existing domain, logo, photographs and business content remain yours. Sorted Web Design retains ownership of the website design, code, reusable components and hosting setup supplied as part of the managed subscription. While payments are current, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the website for your business. A transfer or buyout requires a separate written agreement and may carry an additional fee.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel the monthly managed service by written notice by email. The website remains available until the end of the period already paid for and is then taken offline. Your domain and original materials remain yours. Fees already earned or covering a period already supplied are not normally refundable, without affecting rights given by law.

The service is intended for business customers. If you are legally contracting as a consumer, statutory rights—including applicable cooling-off rights—are not restricted. If you ask us to begin during a statutory cancellation period, we may ask for express consent and acknowledgement of payment due for work already performed.

8. Suspension

We may suspend the website or work if payment is overdue, content is unlawful or harmful, or continued service creates a security or legal risk. We normally give reasonable notice unless urgent action is necessary.

9. Availability and third parties

We take reasonable care to keep managed websites secure and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or specific search rankings, enquiries, sales or advertising results. Domains, hosting, email, payment providers, search engines and other third-party services may experience changes or outages outside our control.

10. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Sorted Web Design is not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses, loss of profit, inaccurate customer-supplied content, third-party services or events outside reasonable control. Where the law permits, total liability arising from the standard service will not exceed fees paid for it in the previous 12 months.

11. Ending the service

We may end the service on reasonable written notice. If we end it for reasons unrelated to your breach, we refund any monthly payment covering a future period not supplied. Terms concerning payment, ownership, liability and disputes continue where necessary.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights that apply.

13. Website + Social service

The £74 per month Website + Social service includes everything in the Managed Website service, setting up or tidying one Facebook business page in the customer’s business name, and up to four Facebook posts each calendar month. Sorted writes, uploads and publishes those posts from genuine information supplied by the customer.

The customer must send up to four genuine photographs and a short description of the week’s work when requested, share each published post, invite appropriate followers and respond promptly to comments, messages and enquiries. If material is not supplied in time, no replacement post is guaranteed. The Facebook page remains the customer’s business asset; Sorted may be given suitable administrator access while the service continues.

Paid advertising, advertising spend, guaranteed follower growth, leads, sales, reviews, video production and work outside the agreed monthly posts are not included. Social platforms and their rules are third-party services outside Sorted’s control, and no particular reach or result is promised.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact hello@sortedwebdesign.co.uk first so we can try to resolve it.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, secure customer sign-in, restricted document access, reputable providers, backups and data minimisation. Where a restricted international transfer occurs, the provider must use a recognised UK safeguard. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
